Plaques

Events in world history both large and small have traditionally been preserved or remembered by the unveiling of a plaque. In association with the event being remembered the material the plaque is made from should also be able to stand the test of time.

Wards of Bristol pride ourselves on producing designs that capture and eye and imagination to ensure that the overall feel of the plaque is in keeping with the memory of the time or person. Cast bronze is a favourite medium for plaques due to its long lasting properties and its classic look. Whether all toned or having the text and border bright linished to contrast the toned sections we achieve excellent results.

New materials and processes enable us to create signs and plaques to accomodate modern logos and ideas whilst giving the impression that you're here to stay. Fixing methods include stand-off brass locators and secret rear grouting rod fixings.

Feel free to view our photo gallery for maore ideas, if not give us a ring and we may be able to send additional photos or samples of materials.
