Built up Stainless Steel Lettering

Built up stainless steel letters are a very popular signage solution, giving a unique look to buildings.  Depending on the finish they can give a chic, bold, modern or even futuristic look.

The letters can either be mirror finish (polished), satin finish (with a “grain”) or painted to any colour you desire (our paint shop can match Pantone, RAL, BS, Dulux or just a sample given to us).  We can also gild the lettering with gold leaf, or metallic paint.  It is often a requirement that the letters be made from “316 grade” stainless steel which is an extremely corrosion resistant material used in marine applications.

The built up letters can be manufactured from almost and font, to almost any size.  The “Returns” (the 3D “depth”) of the lettering is typically designed at around 10% of the letters height, but this can be varied to achieve different looks and feels to the lettering.
