Royal Warrants are granted to those who supply goods or services to the Royal Family.  Warrant holders are allowed to advertise the fact that they hold a Royal Warrant which of course shows a certain level of prestige.  The Royal crest above a citation plate stating the grantee’s trade is the traditional way that a Warrant holder advertises the status.

Ward Signs of Bristol have patterns for The Duke of Edinburgh crest in the following sizes: 7” and 15” (sizes being measured approximately from top to bottom).  Due to properties of the various materials available, crests for The Duke of Arms are generally made from cast aluminium.  Once cast, the coat of arms is covered with enamel undercoat, hardened in a stove and then hand finished in full colour by our heraldic artists.
